Studio A. Because a great room is half the battle.
The premises of the New Sound Studio were designed by the renowned acoustical engineer Helmuth Kolbe. Three sections with separate reverberation time allow us to capture ever nuance of an instrument in great detail. This is especially crucial with complex acoustical instruments such as the drums. If the recording sounds powerful and differenciated at the source, elaborate (and expensive!) postprocessing measures become redundant.
The 80 square meter size of the main recording room makes it perfect even for orchestras or larger bands. Two additional isolation booths provide artists with the possibility of joint live recordings.
The acoustics of the control room are just as perfect. Ideal sound distribution and optimal reflection assure that the final product sounds fantastic everywhere, not just on our own high-end speakers.
